There are many things that Search Engine Optimization (SEO) entails, but don't get this keyword mixed up with Search Engine Marketing (SEM). SEO an optimization of webpages, application pages, blog pages, etc. with meta tags, h1 tags, and li tags. SEM is marketing on the three main Search Engines which are Google, Bing, and Chrome, and it's done through Google Analytics (G.A.) and Social Media Marketing (SEM).
